“My 13 year old daughter and I participated in this 5 hour tour with an excellent english speaking tour guide - Laura. Laura was friendly, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. She made us feel comfortable from the moment she walked into our hotel (she even arrived early). The drive from our hotel was about an hour. Laura then proceeced to show us around and talk to us about the local artists. We got to see several of the artists actually creating their work. It was nice to see how the artists created their masterpieces. She let us decide what we wanted to do and when we were hungry she helped us…”

We had a couple stops to enjoy tastes of Sao Paulo. a perfect way to begin our travel in Brazil. Thanks Lucas!!”

Explore São Paulo’s Jewish heritage on a private two-hour walk through Bom Retiro, historic synagogues, and the Holocaust memorial.

“The tour was disappointing. It was expensive and had little to see. Short walk that passed by 4 synagogues. None could be entered at time of our visit. Buildings not particularly impressive from outside. Guide explained that these synagogues were mostly associated with immigrants from particular countries. At end of tour was small holocaust memorial in building of early Synagogue. Primary function seemed to be to educate Brazilians. Besides holocaust information that most Jews would probably know, a few photos and artifacts of SP Jews, and some signage in Portuguese about history in ‘30s/‘40s. Area was primary location of early Jewish immigrants, but little visible evidence today. Saw a Jewi...”
