“We booked 9-10am and was advised to arrive at 8:30am. There are 3 queues - one for tour groups, one for boarding (those who have a ticket), one for those who need to purchase a ticket. We went in the queue for boarding and got to the front. The gates don’t open until 9am but the queue did get pretty large by 9am so I would advise getting there early and getting in the queue. We were in the first cable car up the mountain and it was nice and quiet up there for a period of time. The tour groups eventually descended upon us so the peace was nice…”

She made the same comments about another family as soon after their drop off point and yet again anothe couple. She didn't explain much at all about the Christ the redeemer statue until I asked.
