Ride Rio’s historic Corcovado Train through Tijuca Forest to Christ the Redeemer, with city views, practical tips, costs, and crowd advice.

“The train ride to Christ the Redeemer was lovely and enjoyable. There are quite a few steps to climb to reach the statue although there is also a lift. Once you reach the statue, the view is breathtaking from every angle. We had lunch there at the Classico Sunset Club Urca restaurant - the prices were quite expensive and the food was ordinary.”

“It was a great experience to go see the Redeemer with our tour guide. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to get the full Rio experience in a day. While the tour can feel a little fast pace, you really do get time to take the photos you want. Sandra was a great tour guide. She gave a wonderful summary of everywhere she took the group.”

“A really good day out. Only downside is a bit of waiting for the train for Christ the Redeemer. The ticket information could be a bit clearer as it is a bit confusing which ticket is which and what time you should be there. Overall definitely worth doing and the views are amazing”

Review of Rio’s Christ the Redeemer train tour with Maracanã Stadium, including transport, timing, guides, crowds, weather, and value.

“For 75 you are basically provided transportation in the form of a bus to the cog train. You aren't picked up at your hotel but a nearby hotel. You're given 30-45 minutes to snap photos of the monument and then take the cog train back down. Depending on group size you'll have to wait a bit to board the bus again as lines for the cog train may be awhile. You are much better off doing this on your own as cog train tickets are only 17-21 USD and you're essentially paying the rest to ride a bus when you can easily take a uber or taxi for much less.…”

Ficamos FRUSTADOS. Fomos prejudicados e nenhuma correção feita a desconformidade ocorrida. Não recomendamos a viator.”

Review of Gramado’s wine, steam train, Italian Epic Park, cheese, shopping, price, language issues, timing, and booking advice.

“I booked an english speaking tour for 2 at a premium for this feature. We found that the only tour guide available spoke only portuguese and that there never are english speaking tour guides. The only person who gave us information was at the winery. The winery stop was far too short also...it was supposed to be the highlight yet we we hurried off to a weaving salesroom. We also wasted time at a pots and pans showroom. I would like a refund for at least the premium paid for an english speaking tour. Thanks, John Afinowicz”

“A good choice if you only want to see these 2 things and not all the other sites. The journey up to Sugerloaf mountain by train is more enjoyable than a van. Our guide Raquel was great and knew all the best photo spots, and looked after us as the only 2 English in a group of Brazilians.”

Cross from Foz do Iguaçu to Argentina for Iguazu Falls, a rainforest train, bilingual guidance, and hotel transfers.

“Well organised. Company was proactive with their communication via WhatsApp and organised pickup time, what I needed to bring for the border crossing, and other advice the day before. On the day, our guide Junior was friendly and helpful. He kept the tour at a pace that took our entire group into account, which was impressive as we had a diverse range of fitness and interests. He spoke Spanish, English and Portuguese fluently. He was fairly knowledgeable about the falls and travelling within the region, and we appreciated chatting with him. Our driver Wagner was on time and professional.”
