You're given 30-45 minutes to snap photos of the monument and then take the cog train back down. Depending on group size you'll have to wait a bit to board the bus again as lines for the cog train may be awhile. You are much better off doing this on your own as cog train tickets are only 17-21 USD and you're essentially paying the rest to ride a bus when you can easily take a uber or taxi for much less.…”

“I booked an english speaking tour for 2 at a premium for this feature. We found that the only tour guide available spoke only portuguese and that there never are english speaking tour guides. The only person who gave us information was at the winery. The winery stop was far too short also...it was supposed to be the highlight yet we we hurried off to a weaving salesroom. We also wasted time at a pots and pans showroom. I would like a refund for at least the premium paid for an english speaking tour. Thanks, John Afinowicz”
