“This is a gorgeous hike through the rain forest. It definitely requires a level of fitness as the climb is steep in some places and lengthy, with fantastic steps at the end. Sadly we went up on a rainy, misty day so we couldn't see what is probably a fantastic view through the clouds. But you can't predict the weather and the climb was still worth it. Especially as we were a very small group.”

They said the water flow is only 1/3 of normal as Brazil is experiencing 7 months of drought but the devil’s throat is still very impressive. Couldn’t imagine what it looks like with 3x of water flow. Iguazu fall is simply a must see place.”

“So the guide told us that the Tojuca National Forest was closed and we could not go there. This was of course disappointing to say the least! She took us ( and another couple) to the Botanical Gardens and did a good tour of them - this was great. Afterwards she took us to a locals bar by the beach with a good view - this was really nice too - bit much she could do about the Tijuca park being closed. E had to pay for the Botanical gardens although we thought it was already paid. We got no money back for the national park.”
