“Liked Imperial Palace visit and Santos Dumont House (optional). Crystal Palace was a dull and I didn't like a 30 minute stop at a motorway café or long visit to chocolate shop. Fixing pick up place was really bad. Place and time were changed but the guide wasn't told... Guide remained very calm with people who were late. Not easy when such a big group. I had the worst seat on the bus, next to the guide. Large sticker on the window blocked a lot of the beauty views. As with all trips I've done in Rio, I wish there was a central pickup point rather than 2 hours driving…”

“Let me begun by saying that my husband and I are well traveled and love/ appreciate tours of all kinds... but are very frustrated by companies who do them badly and without concern or care for their guests. In my opinion, Rio Carioca Tours is a greedy, tour churning company without respect for its guests, policies, or guides. A few notes: The "14 people max" promise in the tour description is a lie. They crammed 44 on our bus and spent two hours picking them all up (and another two dropping them off). Torture! We only stopped outside most of the listed attractions to take pictures, not enter or experience.…”
